Suncare Community Services is a Queensland not-for-profit that has supported local communities since 1970. As a registered Support at Home provider it delivers in-home care, nursing, respite, restorative care, everyday living help, social connection programs and assistive technology support across the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Gympie, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Rockhampton, with local support workers who get to know each client.
⚠ Pricing note
Pricing effective 1 July 2026. Standard hours are 6am to 8pm; non-standard hours are 8pm to 6am, with separate Saturday, Sunday and public holiday rates. All services are charged with a minimum of 1 hour per visit, then in 15 minute increments. Social support group rates are floor prices, from $10 to $26 per hour depending on the day. Long trip rates apply to support requiring travel of more than 50km. Care management is 10% of the quarterly budget, built into the overall budget rather than an extra charge. Meals on Wheels prices vary by meal size and type. Some supports such as specialty cleaning, equipment trials and therapy assessments are offered at fixed or quoted rates. Cancellations need 2 business days notice or the full service rate is charged.
