RSL LifeCare at Home is the home care arm of RSL LifeCare, a not-for-profit founded in 1880 that today runs retirement villages, residential care homes and veteran services across NSW and the ACT. Its Canberra team delivers Support at Home services spanning nursing, allied health, personal care, social support, respite and everyday help, with private home care, Veterans Home Care, DVA Community Nursing and Commonwealth Home Support also offered.
⚠ Pricing note
Prices are RSL LifeCare's Support at Home price guide valid from 1 July 2026, GST exclusive, and include staff time, travel, administration and supervision. Weekday bands run 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am (one combined evening and overnight rate); most care services publish both 30 minute and hourly rates. Allied health, care management and therapeutic services are weekday hourly rates with pro rata charging for shorter visits. Priced on application: allied health group classes, group social support, home maintenance and repairs, gardening, and meal delivery. Government set contributions apply per category: clinical supports are fully funded for all clients, Independence services attract 5% for full pensioners up to 50% for self funded retirees, and Everyday Living 17.5% up to 80%, means tested for other clients. RSL LifeCare also offers private home care, Veterans' Home Care, DVA Community Nursing and CHSP; those rates are not published in this guide.
