RFBI Care at Home is the home care arm of the Royal Freemasons Benevolent Institution, a not-for-profit that has supported communities across NSW and the ACT since the 1880s. Its ACT and Southern Tablelands team delivers Support at Home services from the RFBI village at Holt, one of six home care regions the organisation operates alongside its retirement villages and residential care homes, including villages at Holt and Pearce in Canberra.
⚠ Pricing note
Support at Home rates are from the service price list on RFBI's own fees page (published 1 November 2025), charged per hour with a 30 minute minimum. Weekday bands run 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am (one combined evening and overnight rate). Allied health and therapeutic services, nutrition supplements and home maintenance are priced on application through brokerage. Travel with a client is $1.15 per km in addition to staff time; a per-km call out fee applies outside the designated city boundary. Changes to scheduled services with less than 24 hours notice incur a surcharge, and calls outside office hours (8.30am to 5pm) incur a flat $50 fee, excluding calls to cancel or change a service. RFBI also publishes separate private client (fee for service) rates, shown in the private services table, for care without an aged care assessment.
