The Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC) is a regional peak body that has supported multicultural communities for over 40 years, connecting migrants, refugees and new arrivals with essential services. Its aged care is delivered through CURA, a not for profit home care branch founded in 2014, offering domestic assistance, personal care, meal preparation, social visits, wellness programs and health services through Support at Home and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Tweed Coast and Moreton regions. MCCGC also runs Care Finder services helping seniors navigate the aged care system.
⚠ Pricing note
A minimum charge of 1 hour applies. Weekday services are priced separately for 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, with Saturday, Sunday and public holiday rates for many independence and everyday living services; nursing is published for weekdays only and most allied health for weekday daytime only. Direct transport with driver and car is $75 per trip under 5 km, $100 for 5 to 10 km and $115 for 10 to 20 km, with longer trips priced on request; indirect transport vouchers are $75 per trip and may vary by third-party provider. Assistive technology is $220 per item with flexible pricing aligned to the Home Modifications Scheme List and each participant's assessment. Priced at cost or varying: expenses to maintain personal affairs, expenses for home maintenance and repairs, meal delivery, nursing care consumables, prescribed nutrition products and telehealth services (billed on the specialist's rate in 15-minute increments). Clinical supports require no client contribution; independence supports may need a moderate co-contribution and everyday living a higher one. Cancelling with less than 48 hours notice incurs the full charge.
