Community Based Support (CBS), Moonah, delivers Support at Home, CHSP and self-funded aged-care services plus NDIS/disability support, including home maintenance, personal/home safety, social hubs, short-term respite and garden maintenance.
⚠ Pricing note
Prices exclude GST and vary by the suburb of the client's residence across two published areas (Area 1 covers inner Hobart suburbs such as Moonah, Glenorchy and Hobart; Area 2 covers outer suburbs such as Brighton, Sorell and Huonville; the full lists are on the schedule). The weekday evening rate covers 8pm to 6am. Hourly services have a one hour minimum, except nursing, allied health and therapeutic services, which are charged by appointment length. Direct transport is available for CBS Social Hub pickup and dropoff only; indirect transport (taxi, rideshare or community services) is charged at the transport provider's cost plus 10 percent. Meal delivery is supplier cost plus 10 percent. Nursing and home maintenance consumables are charged at retail cost. Assistive technology and home modifications are quoted, plus CBS administration of 10 percent capped at $500 (assistive technology) or 15 percent capped at $1500 (home modifications), and cannot be funded from ongoing Support at Home funding. Prices apply from 1 July 2026.
